As well as our child-friendly villas, Villa Kubu’s location in the heart of seminyak sees guests perfectly placed to explore some of the many family destinations Bali has to offer.
A short ride in our free shuttle is Seminyak Beach, where the famous Rip Curl Surf School has taken many a young surfer from zero to hero during their stay; while the neighbouring Mesari Stables can organise lessons for all ages and rides along the beach, through local villages and across the rice paddies.
Cycling is another great way of exploring the countryside to get under the skin of the ‘real’ Bali – there are both adult’s and children’s’ bicycles available free for guests at Kubu.
The iconic Ku De Ta beach club its brand new swimming pool is a just a stroll along the beach – kids are always welcome but Sunday is when little people really rule, as it’s the weekly Family Dayze brunch with fun activities including face-painting, jumping castles, balloons, games and an amazing kiddie-craft area.
The four hectares of Waterbom Bali, rated as best waterpark in Asia and in the world’s top three by TripAdvisor, are less than 6 km south of Kubu; while to the north the iconic Canggu Club has recently been transformed into a family paradise, complete with Cubby House Kid’s Club, Bounce Trampoline,Strike Bowling and Splash Waterpark, not to mention plenty of pampering for parents.
Near Waterbom, Totem Room Escape is a phenomenal physical adventure game where your team is locked in a room and has to use all available elements, solve a series of puzzles, and find clues to escape.

Villa Kubu was created very much with families in mind with both two and three-bedroom villas for families of all sizes, each with its own pool (and pool toys), gardens, air-conditioned media room with DVD player, indoor and outdoor living rooms, so plenty of areas for kids of all ages to play and make as much noise as they like!
Kubu’s Oasis Restaurant & Bar is very child-friendly with a full kid’s menu so a great place to meet the children of other guests – we see many friendships being forged here! The small laneways that separate the villas at Kubu are free of traffic and totally safe for youngsters to run around.
